The Importance of the Strategic Plan with Marc Daniels

Marc Daniels, CEO of Results BI, joins Ryan on this episode to discuss the importance of Strategic Planning. Without a Strategic Plan, business leaders waste a large percentage of their time trying to convince customers and partners that they have everything under control when they don’t.


Having investors and angel investors is a good thing, but keep an eye on how much of a stake you actually have in your own company.
Only 30% of companies put together a formal strategic plan. This isn’t to be confused with a forecast or simple goal setting. Only 10-15% of those companies then execute them.
Throw away threats and look toward trends. Try and identify the upcoming trands and set yourself up for some leverege within them. 
Narrow your focus, reduce the noise by keeping your plans direct and to the point. Don’t over complicate.
