When Tony Robbins was in the process of writing the book, Money Master the Game, he interviewed 50 billionaires.
He found out that only 4 out of 50 billionaires were actually happy. Think about it – 4 out of 50 billionaires were happy and the rest weren’t.
How do you set up your role to support you at the highest level so you can support your clients at the highest level.
This concept punched me in the face when I was in the corporate world. One time I wasI talking to a woman who was high achieving and she was completely burnt out, frustrated and she had no time to herself between work and children. She had mom-guilt on top of it.
It took just a couple of small changes for her to get in a different mental space.
These 3 steps get your brain back in a good space:
- Don’t allow email for the first hour of your day.
- Don’t look at your phone for the first and last 30 minutes of your day.
- Give yourself some dedicated time to just think – you need space to be creative
When you are a high achieving and high intensity person, you really do need to give yourself some space each day without stimulation from screens and devices.
When you give yourself this space, you will come up with creative ideas and actually be able to prioritize your life and begin to architect your day in a way that allows you to perform at a higher level and also achieve fulfillment in your life.
